Botulinum Toxins

We offer 4 brands of Tox:

Description

All of these neurotoxins work to temporarily relax the muscle that causes wrinkles from repetitive movement over time. By relaxing these muscles it will give the area a smoother, more youthful appearance. Many areas of the face can be treated but most common are crows feet, frown lines, forehead lines etc. The product will gradually begin to work over 5-14 days and will taper off roughly every 3-4 months. The dose used per client plays a heavy role in the duration of the product and everyone is different. It is important to communicate desired look and movement with your injector so we can tailor a treatment specifically for you. Consults are always free and a great place to start

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are used to correct “static” lines, meaning lines present without the contraction of a muscle. It is also very helpful with adding volume and support to the skin as we age or to help with asymmetries of the face. Dermal Fillers are composed mostly of hyaluronic acid which occurs naturally in our bodies. Some of the common filler areas are lip augmentation, cheek volume, jaw contouring etc.

Fillers have a longevity of 6-18 months depending on type of filler used and location of filler. Topical numbing will be applied before application for some areas.

SkinPen Microneedling

Microneedling works by creating small micro channels in the skin to trigger your body’s natural healing process. By causing the controlled injury it will stimulate your collagen helping with everything from tone, texture, scarring, and wrinkles. Because SkinPen works by revving your body’s natural healing process, it’s safe for all skin types and tones. We recommend a series of treatments for optimal results but results can be seen as soon as one week after 1st treatment.

PRP Services

PRP- Platelet rich plasma can be added onto your micro needling procedure (aka Vampire facial) and/or exosomes.

Platelet Rich Plasma is found in everyone’s blood naturally. We do a small blood draw in the office to extract and can use this plasma as a glide for your microneedling procedure or we can inject the PRP directly into areas that require more collagen growth & stimulation. A common area for this would be under the eyes or in nasolabial folds.

Custom airbrush Spray Tan

At Maine Beauty co we are proud to offer Norvell spray products. UV rays are very damaging to the skin and everything we do here is to help improve skin. We feel It’s important to offer our clients a safe alternative to sun tanning. We offer classic tans, rapid tans and clear (no instant bronzer) spray tans. Appts last about 20 min. Price varies depending on which product is chosen. Tan development time is 10-12 hours for classic & clear and 2-4 hours for rapid.
